This summer at the Grand Majestic, we produced our first all teen production. Thank you to all the amazing performers and helpers who made it a huge success. With the program in full swing, we would like to invite you to be a part of our next all teen production. It's called Jukebox Saturday night and it will be open to anyone interested ages 12-18. It is a review full of dancing and singing to songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's, 80's, 90's, Country, Pop, and Broadway. We are looking to cast 30 teens from the area in the show, the want, determination, discipline, and interest in performing is a must.

We will be holding auditions on four dates. (Saturday August 23rd at Noon, Tuesday August 26th and Thursday August 28th at 4pm, and Saturday August 30th at Noon) You will only need to attend ONE audition. Those interested will be asked to prepare a short vocal selection. An accompanist will NOT be provided. A CD player will be available if you have a background track for the song you wish to sing. Even those not interested in solos will be asked to sing so we can hear your voice. Following vocals, there will be a dance combination taught. Advanced dancers may be asked to stay for a second call. Please remember that auditions should be stress free and relaxed. Sing something you are comfortable with, and wear comfortable clothing for the dance call.

Upon auditioning, you will be asked to let us know of any conflicts you have with the rehearsal schedule. This may not but could affect a casting decision. With a short rehearsal process, we ask that few if no rehearsals be missed. Performance dates will be Saturday November 15th at 2pm and Sunday November 16th at 2pm and 7:30pm. If cast, each performer will be asked to pay a $75 production fee. This helps with costs of operations. For this each performer will receive a t-shirt and 2 complimentary tickets to the show.

Not feeling as strong about your singing and/or dancing? That's what this is for, to learn and grow and be a part of a fun cast. We would love to see everyone!

Not interested in being onstage? We will be looking for teens to work backstage, on lights, sound, costumes, props, as well as stage managers and assistant stage managers. Come to one of the audition dates and there will be a sign up for specific interests.

Parents interested in getting involved? We would love to have you onboard! Come on in to one of the auditions and there will be a sign up sheet to help with backstage, rehearsal monitors, fundraising, concessions, etc.

We have many great plans for the future but to get it started, we want this production to continue the high standard we have already set. Also, we would like to invite you to attend out weekly dance classes. The class is a Music Theatre/Jazz technique and movement class offered every Saturday from 10am - 12 noon. The cost is $10 a week and there is no commitment. Feel like dancing for two hours with professionals from our show? Join us!
